Spiritual Disciplines
December 30, 2018
As we end out 2018 and head into 2019 we need to remember that the church has a
mission. That mission is to seek and save the lost. In 1 Corithians 9 Paul
exorts us to take that mission seriously as we finish the race.

Living in His Presence
October 7, 2018 to November 4, 2018
The phrase "living in His Presence" conjures up so many images. For some its streets of gold
and pearly gates. For others they thing of the day what Jesus returns or some future tense
list of events. The problem is that is not how Jesus saw it. He saw it as a here and now
relationship. So in this series we are going to take a look at some of those "end time"
images and apply them to the here and now.

Not Another Hero
July 22, 2018 to August 19, 2018
One of the first "BIG" series I did when I got here was God's Hero. In it
we chronicaled the life of Elijah while exploring what it takes to be a hero
for God. I guess you could sort of call this the sequel to that.
Although this is also the flip side to the hero idea. We are going to take
a 5 week walk with Samson. He's a man that was born to be a hero but life
choices sent him spiraling out of control and created one of the greatest
tragedies in the Bible..

Crood Theology
January 7, 2018 to February 25, 2018
We ended our fall series with a new understanding of what the church is. Its a Voyage
not an Island. Now the question becomes how do we start that voyage. We are going
to take a little journey with the Crood family; a family that had to learn how
to live life in a brand new culture. We are going to adapt the lessons they learned
on their journey to our evolving faith and in the process begin our journey to
reaching the world for Christ
