What Can I Expect On Sunday Morning?
You matter to God, and you matter to us. At Parkview Christian Church, we're ready for company and we have prepared an
environment to connect people to Jesus and one another by being real, relevant and relational. We think that going to
church should be an uplifting and positive experience; one where you can come and be yourself and learn how to deal with
real life issues. As we celebrate the life God gives us, you will have the opportunity to discover His answers to life's
questions.
Will I be singled out and introduced?
No. Although some churches do this, it can be a little embarrassing or intimidating to have to stand and introduce
yourself. We would never single you out in such a manner. We do hope that our church members will introduce themselves to
you and welcome you to our church but you will never be asked to do anything that you are not comfortable with.
Do you have communion?
Yes. We celebrate communion each week to keep fresh in our mind the fact that Jesus sacrificed His blood and body by dying
for us on the cross. If you would like to share in this with us, please feel free to, but if you would rather not, then
that's OK too.
What should I wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable for worship. If that is a suit, wear a suit; if its jeans and a casual shirt, wear that.
We know Jesus preached to people from all walks of life and cared more about them being there then what they were wearing.
Do you pass an Offering Plate ?
Yes, but we would never pressure you in to giving. Your gift to God should come from your heart, not from some external
pressure "guilting" you into giving. For the first few weeks, leave your check books home. We want you to get to know us
and to see if our church is what you are looking for. You will know in your heart the point that you may feel like giving
but it should be when you are ready, not when you're pressured into it.
