A church can have no greater responsiblity than when God blesses us with young people. When Jesus
commanded Peter to take care of the flock he began with "feed my lambs." Our goal for the
Parkview Christian Church youth & children’s ministry is to provide a safe, fun, and active path for
young people to establish their relationship with Christ. Through fellowship, they are
encouraged to explore, "what God says," "what it means to me", "and how it can be applied to
my life." We strive for well-rounded ministries of instruction, Bible memory, worship, music,
and activities.

The Bible is not a book, it’s a story. It’s a story of how God created mankind. Mankind turned from God.
And God came looking for us. When youth and children to see how stories from the Bible fit together to tell
one big story, so they can understand God's purpose in all of history, from the beginning of the world to the
present. “The Biggest Story” is made especially for churches, and allows students ages 6-12 to
engage with God’s story through engaging study and interaction.

Let's face it, we live in an on the Go world. Everybody is busy, busy busy. Our young people are no
exception. This makes is hard to give them spiritual guidance, but not impossible. Grab and Go with God
is a mid-week post on our Youtube Channel. It is an extension of the story shared on Sunday monring with
more of a modern day, life applicable emphasis. These post allow our young people to get a mid-week
God thought from no matter where their life takes them

All work and no play makes for a very boring life. Young people need activities and events.
These events are not deeply spiritual but they are entirely neccessary. They allow youth and children
to interact, get to know one another and bond together. Lunch Bunch activities are quarterly events
usually done on the 5th Sunday of the month. After our morning worship we head out, grab some lunch
and then participate in a fun activiy

As the temperature climbs and school lets out, we offer two unique summer time experiences for our
young people.
First, each year we sponsor a Vacation Bible School. This is usually a week long experience
done in the evenings. Its a great time of fellowship as stundents sing, learn, play games, and do crafts.
It an activity that is attended by both those in the church and those outside.
Second is summer camp. Parkview Christian Church is a supporter of Cedar Creeek Christian Camp.
The camp hosts various weeks of camp during the summer for elementary, middle school and high school
students.
